Welcome to Little Shed Lavender at Solstice Farm, in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
This is our first year with a crop in the ground we decided to concentrate initally on a single cultivar 'Phenomenal' . Phenomenal has one of the highest essential oil contents of any lavender variety, it is intensely, delisciously fragrant. It imparts a lovely flavor to foods, and scent lasts a long time in craft projects. Not only that but it is also a superiorly hardy lavender and can handle harsh winters and taxing humid summers with grace, we hope!
Time will tell but we think we have made a good choice!
